Worldly philosophy says that man is basically good and that he only does some bad things; contrarily, the Scripture says that man, by nature, is evil and only by the grace of God is able to do good things.
The Bible says: "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" "There is none righteous, no, not one; They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one." Romans 3:23, 10, 12.
We believe Original sin was inherited from our first parents, Adam and Eve, and remains in the flesh of man throughout the natural lifetime. "Behold, I was shaped in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me." Psalm 51:5
"Among whom we also all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and whereby nature the children of wrath, even as others." Ephesians 2:3
"But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousness are like filthy rags." Isaiah 64:6
